Cleaning and Care

Regular vacuuming without a beater bar keeps dust from settling into the pile base. For stains, respond dry first (lift with a spoon, blot with kitchen paper), then clean by pressing with a damp cloth — rubbing permanently damages surface fibres. Because acrylic does not absorb water, early response to a stain is usually enough. In positions exposed to prolonged direct sunlight, rotating the kilim occasionally helps.
