PRODUCTION
A process where craftsmanship meets technology
At Sesli Tekstil, production proceeds in a fully traceable structure — from fiber preparation to yarn, from weaving to finishing processes, from laboratory validations to packaging. Blankets, bedspreads, and rugs share a common weaving infrastructure, with each product type reaching its final character through its own finishing steps. In-line controls ensure consistency in measurement, weight, and surface quality; laboratory tests secure performance and color fastness.
Fiber / Raw Material Preparation
Selected fibers are classified by batch, blended according to the mixing plan, and conditioned to appropriate humidity/condition levels. Traceability codes are assigned to form the reference for subsequent production stages.
Laboratory
Products and yarns are verified through tests for weight (grammage), dimensional stability (shrinkage), color standardization and fastness (washing/rubbing), pilling resistance, and abrasion performance. Shade recipes are approved here with batch-to-batch matching; when required, cross-verification is conducted with accredited external laboratories.
Yarn Preparation
Yarns are produced within the targeted count range (e.g., Ne 2/1 – Ne 30/1). Blend ratios, twist levels, and lubrication parameters are adjusted according to the product type. Batch consistency is monitored through regular testing of unevenness and tensile strength.
Weaving, Finishing & Quality Control
Following warp preparation and loom settings, mass production weaving begins. In-line controls continuously monitor width, weight, weft/warp density, edge integrity, and surface quality; any deviations are corrected immediately. Fabrics leaving the weaving stage are processed according to product type:
- For blankets: shearing/leveling, cutting to size, and fringe/edge stitching.
- For bedspreads: cutting to size and overlock/binding.
- For rugs: cutting to size, edge reinforcement, and backing cleaning.
After dimensional and visual approval, products are packed in protective packaging with lot–barcode labeling, ensuring they are ready for dispatch.
