Uşak and the Machine Weaving Tradition
Uşak is one of Türkiye's historic centres of carpet and kilim production. Sesli Tekstil comes from within that accumulated knowledge: a story that began in 1967 with wool yarn production continued for many years supplying yarn to the hand-woven carpet and kilim sector, and today carries on with machine woven kilim production.
A machine woven kilim is more affordable than hand weaving and offers high dimensional consistency; pattern repeat and colour standards are maintained in series production.

Raw Material and Certification
In kilim production acrylic yarn stands out for colour vividness, loft and abrasion resistance. Regenerated acrylic yarn is also widely used; it is obtained from production offcuts and industrial textile waste and contributes to waste reduction.
Kilim Care and Cleaning
Vacuuming regularly without a beater bar keeps surface dust from settling into the pile base. For stains, respond dry first and then clean by pressing with a damp cloth; rubbing can permanently damage surface fibres. In positions receiving prolonged direct sunlight, rotating the kilim from time to time helps.
