SUSTAINABILITY

with respect for nature and people…

Our Journey Towards Sustainable Production

At Sesli Tekstil, sustainability means a holistic approach that extends from using energy smartly and recycling waste, to building a culture of safe work and developing lasting competencies. Supported by solar energy systems (PV), our journey encompasses energy management, efficient use of natural gas, solid waste and end-of-line surplus management—together with people-centered employment, training, and occupational health & safety culture.

FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Solar Energy (PV Systems)

Electricity generated from rooftop PV systems reduces grid consumption and lowers Scope-2 emissions. Annual production and CO₂ reduction metrics are monitored regularly.

Waste Management & Circularity

Production residues such as fiber/fabric edges, dust, and packaging are segregated at source and directed to licensed recycling/disposal channels. Reusable materials are reintegrated into the processes.

Energy Efficiency & Natural Gas

High-efficiency boilers with combustion control, heat recovery, and line-based measurement optimize fuel consumption. While maintaining production comfort, energy intensity per unit product is reduced.

End-of-Line Management

Final residues from weaving and finishing are classified as off-size or non-conforming products. If suitable, they are reprocessed and revised; if not, they are removed in a controlled manner. Traceability is ensured on a lot basis.

FOR PEOPLE

Safe and Happy Work Environment (OHS)

Risk assessments, periodic trainings, and protective equipment standards aim for zero accidents. A feedback and suggestion system is actively maintained.

Training & Development

Technical trainings (weaving, quality, maintenance), as well as leadership and communication programs, enhance competencies. Internal promotions and mentoring are supported.

Ethical & Responsible Sourcing

Supplier evaluations, social compliance policies, and product safety standards (e.g., OEKO-TEX, ISO management systems) are implemented and monitored accordingly.
